One of My Favorite Miniatures is Sold!

Summer Fox, Harpswell ME

A moth eaten fox meanders along the kelp and sea weed covered rocks revealed by low tide. His fur is ragged and his tail shows areas of hair loss.  It could be flea allergy, mange or perhaps he's blowing his winter coat.  With diseases such Rabies on the rise in the northern states I'm careful to keep my distance.  He doesn't show any symptoms.  It is a happy accident to cross paths with this animal, so I take my chances and shoot a bunch of photographs.

This painting is tiny. Only 6" x 3.5" It remains one of my favorite miniatures and I'm so happy it is sold to someone who will appreciate it as much as I.
